The Taste of Design — Translating Cacao into a Digital Journey
Cacao en Broma is a specialty chocolate brand born from three childhood friends who turned their passion for cacao into an artisanal bean-to-bar journey handcrafted in Madrid, with heart and flavour.
They call themselves “en broma” (in a joke) but they take chocolate very seriously: every day they craft rich, honest chocolate from seed to bar, co-creating with pastry ateliers and transforming “imperfect” fruits into unique taste experiences.
It was therefore essential to create an identity and packaging experience that felt fresh, modern and sensorial just like the aromas, textures and stories behind each chocolate bar.

Cacao en Broma’s digital identity was conceived as an ode to Theobroma Cacao “food of the gods” blending mythological roots with a contemporary artisanal spirit. The design approach focused on translating the tactile, handmade nature of the chocolate into a warm, immersive digital experience.
Through textured backgrounds, vintage engravings and bold modern typography, the interface evokes both authenticity and sophistication.
